Children all seem to adore cooking and there's no better way to get them involved in the kitchen than by baking simple foods. It's a hands on activity that's fun, educational and can produce some yummy goodies as a reward at the end. I recall having a great cookbook as a child which provided hours of fun in the kitchen and so I was really happy when my son unwrapped the "Big Cook Little Cook Party Cook Book" this Christmas. One of my daughters' favourite TV programmes is Big Cook Little Cook which can be seen almost daily on the cbeebies channel. Bearing this in mine, when it was my daughter's third birthday, we thought we would get hold of the Big Cook Little Cook Party Cook Book to hopefully get some inspiration for some food ideas that little ones might like. The book comes as a spiral bound hardback and all of the pages are wipe clean which is a necessity if your child is going to help make the food.
