The Text is limited to two lines per page making it a good story for when there is limited time or for young children when they are starting to read themselves. This book jumped off the shelf at me when I was in Waterstones about a year ago, My little boy is called Jim and I just had to buy it. Pass the Jam Jim is written by Kaye Umansky and is illustrated by Margaret Chamberlain. The version I bought is hardback but it is also available in standard paperback and in a mini paperback. The RRP for the hardback is £9.99 but I had a look on Amazon prior to writing this review and it is available from £6.99, £4.50 for the paperback and £1.50 for the mini Treasure paperback.
