I thought the ghost was one of Danielle Steel's best. I won't go into the plot to much but it is basicaly about a newly divorced man called Charles who finds himself alone at the christmas holidays and rents a house from an old lady. When he settles in he goes into the loft and discovers a dusty box and in it is a set of journals written 600 years ago written by a girl called Sarah Ferguson and gets caught up in her life.
