Newest Review: ... novels because they don't ask me to think to much. Those times when I have analysed them, I find them so full of holes that it encouraged me to not do so again, so I'm not going to and if you want to enjoy his thrillers, I'd advise you not to either. I've been reading James Patterson novels on and off for about 5 years. My friend introduced me to them, and after spending quite a bit of time ploughing through a Clancy novel it was enjoyable and I could hardly put the thing down. All of JP's books are based around detective's of one sort or another. There are the famous Alex Cross novels (including the 2 that were made into movies Kiss The Girls and Along Came a Spider). At this point you may be noticing a little theme...all the Alex Cross novels use nursery rhyme titles: Pop Goes The Weasel, Jack and Jill, Roses are Red, See How they Run, Cat and Mouse, Cradle and All and his most recent novel ...

James Patterson is a brilliant writer. As a fan of the likes of Stephen King, Koontz, Layman and thier ilk, I was looking for someone new to idolise when I picked up 'Kiss the Girls' at a car boot. I was reasonably impressed, the writer obviously had a unique style that manages to keep the pages turning without the need for blood and guts. However, I wasn't totally sold. Next, I ordered 'When the Wind Blows' as part of a introductory package for a book club. This one I really couldn't put down. It was brilliant! In fact, I've just finished reading it for about the third time and when I couldn't find it on Dooyoo to write ...
