Advantages: Absolutely gripping books !

Disadvantages: May kill your social life !

James Patterson books are the most addictive books I have ever read ! Especially the Alex Cross series, I find myself waiting for the next one to come wishing he could write faster ! I try reading other books by other authors and I'm not saying the rest are bad but no one quite compares, once you have picked up a James Patterson you cannot put it down literally ! You must read them if you haven't already, start with 'Along came a spider' and you won't be disappointed. Each one that comes out seems to get better !
You are probably thinking me a little over the top but when you've read them all you to will understand why we all love these books. The only disadvantage is that you may find you don't want to go out as you want to carry on reading- this can result in your friends thinking you are really quite sad, we don't want that so do be careful, also you must try and put it down when you go to bed else you will be up all night reading and the effects of this I will leave for you to decide !
So go out and buy it - money well spent !

I must admit this is very true. I must have spent continuous hours reading most of James Pattison books and i missed many of my social events but they were worth all the time and money spent on them.
'Along came a Spider' was the first book i read in the Alex Cross range and i found it very compelling its a must have.
