---Intro--- I've just finished reading another of these 'sob story' autobiographies which I have a tendency to read (I fail to understand why I read them). For some unknown reason I actually chose to receive this particular book from someone off BookMooch so it cost me nothing. ---The Book--- "Pavement for my Pillow" (subtitled "The Astonishing Story of One Woman's Climb from pitiful bag lady to scholar and writer") is essentially about the author's (Chris Kitch) struggle with alcohol and drug addiction and how she overcame it.
