From a practical, parenting point of view this book is excellent - wipe clean and very hardy!
Another reason why this book is so pleasing is that it runs through the day-to-day routine/activities that babies and young children go through, such as hiding behind toys, splashing and playing in the bath and of course...the best bit of the day (for parents anyway!) being snuggled up all cosy in bed.
This book helps to develop those finer motor skills that babies need to improve by giving them the opportunity to turn their own pages and lift the flaps - the book is built so sturdily to aid baby's personal achievements by allowing them to try to do things themselves.
The rhymes that are used are gentle and repetitive, ensuring that baby/young child enjoys every minute of this loveable book.
The book also helps to promote equality and diversity by showing babies of all different shapes, sizes and colours.
This book is perfect as a gift for a parent/child, as an addition to a collection for a crèche or nursery or just for yours and your child's own enjoyment.
