I have to admit that I was a little at a disadvantage reading Pegasus In Space, since it is the third in a trilogy and I haven’t read the previous two instalments. Still, every novel should be complete in itself so I am reviewing it as a standalone book, though I strongly suspect that if you’ve read the previous two books, you would enjoy this one more than I did. (Judging from the other, generally glowing reviews already here, this would seem to be the case.) It does have one of my favourite quotations of all time as its pre-prelude, which seemed a good omen, but it all went a little downhill from there. This is the concluding book of the trilogy that began with 'To Ride Pegasus' and carried on through 'Pegasus in Flight'. The central character is Peter Reidinger who made his appearance in Pegasus in Flight as the paraplegic able to perform amazing feats of kinesis using generators to boost his abilities. The plots centres around an attempt by Engineer Barchenka's attempt to hijack the newly finished space station and Peter's increasingly long range 'Catches' and 'Throws'.
