A strange story, and one which I am not entirely comfortable with. I came across this again a few weeks ago when a child found it in the library and asked me to read it. **Story and Illustrations** The story starts with Peter, resplendent in his red wellies, splashing in the puddles and getting his grandad all wet. Grandad tells him to stop it or the bogeyman will get him! Look carefully, and there, indeed, is the bogeyman, shrouded in a long dark coat, and watching Pater. of course, Peter doesn't know what the bogeyman looks like, and so when grandad describes him as a 7foot tall monster with 5 arms, we realise that this is all quite gruesome ...  Read the complete review
