Having read J M Barrie's Peter Pan as part of my University degree course I decided that I would also read the prequel and sequel to the novel. It is important to point out here that neither of these novels were written by J. M. Barrie or anyone close to him and therefore are simply someone else's interpretation of the characters he created. Peter and the Starcatchers is the prequel to Peter Pan and was written by Dave Barry (I know the name is uncanny) and Ridley Pearson.
