To my mind, Julia Donaldson is a wonderful children s author which is why every time we spot another book of hers (and indeed there are many!) I just have to add it to my daughters collection. Our latest addition is Follow the Swallow. This delightful tale tells of the wonderful relationship between two birds - Apollo the Swallow and Chack the blackbird. When we first meet them they are very young birds both learning to fly which is how they meet.
