Interesting time and place
Poor plot and too many loose ends
Amazir - Tom Gamble
Love Always - Harriet Evans
Good characters, especially Cecily. Deeper than most chick lit books despite the cover.
The cover doesn't represent the plot for me.

Erotic, romantic, excellently written
Oscar Wilde Mysteries 3: Oscar Wilde and the Dead Man's Smile - Gyles Brandreth
witty, funny, amazing plot twists, believable and well researched
pace is slow so the book is hard to get into, veers off into random tangents, a bit too long

Unusual but fascinating story.

Sound story with very unexpected twists and good concept
