Point Blanc is the sequel to Stormbreaker (reviewed) and is the second book in the fantastic Alex Rider series written by Anthony Horowitz. Alex is a 14 year old who is reluctantly working for MI6. He is sent away to a boarding school in the French Alps which has a perfect record for curing children who have had problems at other schools and been expelled. However when two parents of the children who go there disappear, Alex is sent in to investigate. I really like the characters in this book. There are the two criminal masterminds Dr.Grief and Mrs Stellenbosch. Dr Grief is a very cunning and mysterious person and you can imagine him being very ... Read the complete review

With armed guards and pupils eager to learn in optional Latin classes Point Blanc is a finishing school for extremely rich people to ... Read the complete review

Point Blanc - Anthony Horowitz =====_Plot_===== This book is set a few weeks after the Storm Breaker novel which introduced the world to Alex Rider, the 14 year old super spy. This story is based around a finishing school for troublesome boys from rich and influential families. After two of the most recent men to send their children there die in rather freak accidents, MI6 decide to call in Alex to investigate the school. Whilst this is all happening Alex has taken it upon himself to break up the drug ring that has been poisoning his school. This leads to him being taken away by MI6 and given the job. Alex must now pose as the troubled ... Read the complete review
