Postman Pats washing day I am sure there is no one out there who does not know a little about postman pat. John Cuncliffe Published the first postman Pat book in the late 1970’s. He has written many books about Postman Pat since then. The illustrations in the book are all done by Joan Hickson. In 1981 the BBC produced the first series of Postman Pat. Postman Pat has been popular with children and I bet we could all hum /sing the tune postman pat postman pat , postman pat with his black and white cat , tra la laa la laa laa opps sorry I am writing about one of the books not the TV series .
