Potty training is one of those inevitable events when you have children, sooner or later you have to do it. Christopher was my first child and I had no idea how to start potty training him. It can also be a little controversial in terms of when and how it should be done, so couple this with a controversial author also and you could have trouble on your hands but I have to say I was amazed with this book! This is a pocket sized book ay Toddler Guru Gina Ford that is optimistically called Potty Training in One Week. The first thing I loved about this book is it's length. It is short and straight to the point. Some of these toddler books, including other Gina Ford ones, are long and full of things that are irrelevant to your own child but this one is perfect provided your child meets the criteria in the chapter regarding signs of readiness for potty training. Words cannot express how much this book saved my sanity and made life a lot easier and happier for my daughter and me during our second attempt at potty training. We were the first in our group of friends to have children and so since using it myself I always recommend this book and lots of our friends have also had great success with the book!
