This was a book for kindle that I downloaded because it was free, I'm pretty sure that it still is. You can buy the whole book at once for a higher price but the author has also released it as a set of 6 parts - I imagine the idea behind this is that it seems cheaper even if added up buying them all is almost double buying the proper book! It would also hook you in buy giving you a part of the book for free then the idea would be that you'd want to buy the other parts, but this didn't really work for me.
Pride and premiership is written in a diary format, with it sectioned into times (quite precise ones as well, such as 7.45pm) with very informal language so that it might appeal to your younger reader, such as OMG that you might expect in a text. The book revolves around a girl who is desperate to meet, and be in a relationship with a premiership footballer. So its not really comparable to Pride and Prejudice as the title suggests then! She has all sorts of different rules of what to do once you meet them, as she inevitably does which she calls 'The Wag Charter.' Along with her best friend/sister she sets off on her mission to become a WAG.
To be honest, I'm glad this book was free because I would have been annoyed if I'd wasted money on it! It just didn't really capture my attention, and the characters were really annoying - how desperate she was to become a Wag and all the different rules she had to try and achieve the goal just seemed stupid after a while.
