Such is the size of my book collection that I have started re-reading some of my favorite authors work partly as a means to reducing my outgoings and also as a way of reminding myself of the reason why my collection boasts so much of their work. I have always enjoyed the writing of Jonathan Kellerman despite the recent very poor joint effort with his wife Faye which was very disappointing. Premium Review About as slow as an M25 traffic jam (261 words)
by - written on 25/10/09 (Very useful, 23 readings)
Rating:

Private Eyes is a rather disappointing psychological thriller of a book that features Alex Delaware a child psychologist who also does consultancy work for the LAPD. Often this involves him working with his cose friend Detective Milo Sturgis who is a bit of an outsider in the police force due to his sexual orientation. This partiucular story sees Delaware rather isolated and depressed following the break up of his long term relationship while Sturgis is suspended after punching a senior officer. When Delaware is contacted by a former patient he treated as a child, Melissa sufferred from many demons and her rich family were little help as her father was dead ...  Read the complete review
