Advantages: Brilliant characters and interesting plot

Disadvantages: None

I actually bought this book having already read the second in the series (Mirror, Mirror), although at the time I didn't realise they had any connection! I still found this book a brilliant read and it wasn't spoilt by the fact that I knew what happened in the sequel!

It is a story of lies, deceit, family problems and how these can be turned around and still enjoy the good times to. Ellen Munroe is the main character that has fallen for a lying cheat that doesn't deserve the undivided love he receives from her. When she finds out she is pregnant will he do the honourable thing and marry her or turn his back on the whole situation? Sheila Munroe, Ellen's mother, cant believe her bad luck when she hears of the pregnancy and can only think about herself and how it is going to make her look. She doesn't want to be the laughing stock of the town and hates the fact that her rival in society will have one up on her now. How will the family cope with the circumstances and who will come out the other side a better person?

Good read and everyone would be able to relate to the characters and really get into the book. A very realistic storyline that you just won't want to stop reading.

Summary: 10/10
