One of the best books i have ever read. (PS, I Love You - Cecelia Ahern)

Advantages: You can relate with the characters

Disadvantages: I didnt want it to end

I absoutly loved this book i have got all of Cecelia Aherns books she is a great author, but this one ive gotta say is my fav upto now.

I read the book then watched the film, the film is excellent but the book is stupendous after reading the book first then watching the film i felt like i got to know all the characters and could apprieciate how they was feeling.


This book is set in Ireland, Holly Kennedy has got the husband we all want to have he is perfect the love of her life...sadly he dies. Gerry dies of a brain tumor and holly must learn to live a life again. She feels like her world has just ended but she must learn to survive with the help of friends and family. However, upon discovering that Gerry had some idea that she would take his death badly, he wrote a series of notes to arrive every month up until a year after his death. These notes provided her with comfort and to feel as though Gerry was still around.

While reading the i felt as though i was living in the character of Holly experiencing that the love of her life has just gone and left her. I found this book extremely emotional with a slight tears in my eyes at times of reading the book but also it was hilarous. I couldnt expect more from a book. Ceclia Ahern has a way of making relate with the charector even though you may never have experienced the same things. You feel the same pain, joy and happiness. I couldn't put this book down i knew the charector so well by the end. If it sounds like your sort of book then you will definatly love it.

Summary: Go buy it!!
