Advantages: Will captivate you from start to finish

Disadvantages: wishing your partner was more like Gerry!

I read this book on holiday after seeing the film. This was my first Cecila Ahern book that I have read and I was not dissapointed at all!

I saw this film is the cinema as soon as it was released. I loved every minute of it. There was comedy, romance and heartache all rolled into one. I think every girl sitting there was wishing that they had a partner like Gerry.

Upon reading the booh however I was dissapointed in how the storyline differs from the book to the film. In my opinion the book is far superior and more believable than the film. As much as I loved the film I believe if they have kept the storylines similer it would have been much better!

Despite this however the book totally captivated me from start to finish and I actually re-read it again straight away!

If you loved the film then read the book! Its brilliant and I cant wait to read some more of Cecelia's books!
