'P.S. I Love You' is a magnificent novel by Cecelia Ahern, now made into a film (which does not do it justice). Holly and Gerry are a young, passionate couple planning their life together when Gerry's health begins to deteriorate due to a brain tumour, and he soon dies. Holly cannot go on with her life, she was completely devoted to husband Gerry and can see no reason for living, not only had her husband died, but her whole world had died too. But on her 30th Birthday, Gerry comes back to her, or so it seems. Through a series of letters and instructions that 'must be obeyed', Gerry conducts his master plan to help Holly to move on with her life, like her guardian angel watching over.

Holly obeys these mysterious and light hearted instructions with the help of close friends Sharon and Denise, as she tries to persist with her life. But as the world continues as though nothing has happened, and Sharon and Denise are continuing with their lives, Holly finds it hard to carry on.

Cecelia Ahern's heart-warming novel is a must read, through tears of sadness and tears of laughter I couldn't put it down!
