Get the tissues, and settle in for a tearjerker!

Holly and Gerry are childhood sweethearts, or were until Gerry died of a brain tumour. We learn of Holly and Gerry's life together through heart tugging flashbacks as Holly grieves for him.

Holly and Gerry are only in their thirties when Gerry dies, which in itself is tragic, but the way that Cecilia Ahern has created these characters and brought them to life is almost too much to bear. This book is honestly and truly one if the saddest stories I have ever read, but still a fantastic read.

Most tearjerking moment ever (and it doesn't take much with me!) is flashback to Gerry while still alive but terribly ill. I was in floods.

Cecilia Ahern manages to tell a very emotional story in a very realistic way, without it coming across as cheesy.

Read this one if you feel emotionally stable enough and you're up for a good cry!
