'A Quantum murder' is the second outing for Peter F Hamilton's Psi -boosted private eye: Greg Mandel ( his debut novel was 'Mindstar rising' and a further sequel was 'Nano flower'). Hamilton deftly blends science, social commentary and nail biting action into a well executed sci-fi thriller. although better known now for his giant sized 'Night's Dawn trilogy', he shows good promise in these early novels.
