A number of books have been written regarding SAS selection. Although many authors may have undergone this process, their accounts are usually full of bravado. This book is not like that at all. It is very down to earth and for anyone considering any sort of exposure to the infantry or related arms, it is well worth a read. I know a few basics about infantry training and a lot of the scenarios are very true. Anyway, the author of this book is a well-educated chap, has a promising career and is on the verge of marriage and “settling down”.
