traditional childhood values reinforced, engaging characters and storylines
some poor quality reprints so be wary of the version you buy

Charming and funny.
English literature teachers might try to ram it down your throat and force you to write interminable essays on it. Ignore them for they are disciples of satan.

Great midnight feast
Not as good as the Mallory series of novels

Funny, different and absorbing.
Lots of masculine themes.

Informative, funny.
You want to go to Australia (expensive!)

Short chapters, fastly paced, lots of suspense
Tooooooo short

Very unusual and interesting
Some rather explicit descriptions and situations...not for everyone

good battle half
very sketchy buildup and intro half
