This has a number of similarities to other books from the same author,in that it is set in the past around 1925-a lot of her books are set in this time period.
The story is different from her other books in that there is only one main character.
The main character in this book is called Rose Ryder.
She really wants to be a tram driver like her dad but life is never fair is it? and obviously this doesn't happen.
