Advantages: Good Storyline
Disadvantages: None really
Rainbow Six was my first attempt at reading a novel and I decided that I wanted to read after I played the game. The game follows the story of you being in charge of a crack counter-terrorist team. The game is a lot like the book and I have to say how much I enjoyed the game. So this made me have to read it. So for my birthday I got some WH smith vouchers and I went down there and got the book. I opened up the first page and I felt unwrapped into the action of what was happening. It opens up like any action film. There is a lot of action this time it is in the way of terrorists have taken over a plane. But the 3 main soldiers have left their guns in their bags so they have to work out a way. Of taken them down. I wont ruin it for you as I suggest you buy it. The book does have a lot graphic violence and swearing. There is a bit in the book were Tom Clancy describes a bullet going through a head of someone and saying “The head exploded like a melon. Leaving a Pink mist to fall behind.” it is a bit more graphic but you get my gist. The swearing is pretty bad with about 7 F---- in one page. Put that is in a mid action part. The book portraits all the main characters from the game like Ding Chaez, and others. You get to see the characters personalities in the book. I don’t know what will be next something like a film or something. That would be great. I have read other Tom Clancy books and nothing compares. I have to say this but you really have to get the book. Really, Really have to get it its great if you loved the game.
