As I sit typing the first words of this review it is 4:25am. Do you want to know why I am awake at such a time? Because I have just finished reading David Gemmell?s Ravenheart, the fourth in the series of Rigante books. I don?t get much time to read, so usually it takes me a couple of months to read a book even one that I am thoroughly enjoying. Somehow I have managed to read this book in 5 days. I received it through the post on Tuesday, I purchased it on Ebay for the bargain price of £2:30 (P&P included) and almost immediately set about reading it. Since then he has produced over twenty fantasy novel's, many of which are destined to become classics (Legend has never been out of print in 18 years).
