Advantages: thriling, great characters

Disadvantages: made the movie look rubbish

For some reason, this book doesn't seem to be as popular/widely know as the others in the series, don't let that put you off!

In my opinion this is by far the best book in the Hannibal Lecter series. This is the first Thomas Harris book which features Dr. Lecter and has by far the best storyline.

If you liked Silence of the Lambs or Hannibal, you will love this. The characters are fantastic and the story will keep you reading! If you like crime stories/thrillers you will love this book.

During the story you follow Will Graham, the criminal profiler who actually caught Hannibal, as he is called back in from his early retirement by the FBI to track down the Red Dragon- a serial killer who has been targeting families. Will must go back to Lecter for help with the case...

Don't want to spoil the story!

Brilliant twists and as usual Thomas Harris has done a fantastic job in creating his characters and storyline.

Summary: Brilliant Book, best in the Lecter series
