Advantages: A great entertaining storyline.

Disadvantages: No follow up story

Sophie Kinsella has fast become one of my favourite authors, I began with the Shopaholic Series and although I enjoyed them some took a while to really get to the story and before you knew it the plot had come and gone but after reading the series of Shopaholic books I was unsure whether I wanted to read the additional books she had read but Remember Me was a book I found hard to put down.

Lexi Smart is in her mid twenties working in a dead end job for a carpet company, with a dead end boyfriend. Lexi is unlucky and on a Christmas night out she is stood up by her boyfriend, the only one to not get their bonus and to make matters worse she has her Dad's funeral the following morning, desperate to get home so that she can get some sleep before the harrowing morning that is to follow she finds catching a cab a little to difficult and when she finally spots a cab she runs for her life literally and has a major accident which knocks her unconscious..............

When Lexi finally awakens all she can remember are the events from the night before and as she starts to come to she asks the nurse to retrieve her hand bag so she can contact her friends and get in touch with her mother and sister to ensure she can get to the funeral that morning..........except when the nurse returns with a very expensive Louis Vuitton handbag she thinks there must be some mistake but before she can advise the nurse the bag does not belong to her the nurse is gone.

Lexi looks in the bag and discovers her identification but the contents do not resemble anything she had before the accident she decides to contact her close friends to let them know she is awake and that she would like them to come and visit her but they don't reply but she has message on her phone which just don't seem to relate to people that she knows and when the nurse returns she explains that Lexi has not been unconscious for a night but for the past 3 years and that the cause of her accident was a car crash.

Lexi refuses to believe this and slowly she discovers that she is married to a rich, handsome man and she lives in a super modern loft apartment and a brand new mercedes but how did this happen and why are non of her friends actually getting back in touch with her??

Slowly but surely the plot of the story appear right before our eyes and you become really involved in the story, I finished this book in less than 3 days as I just couldn't put the book down. The story was entertaining and there were many twists and turns along the way which make the story a little different to Kinsella's other novels.

This is a great book to read on a weekend away or if you want to relax, its a great story that will keep you entertained throughout.

I read this book in the hardback version as it was a swap from www.readitswapit.com but you can now purchase in paperback from Tesco on the 2 for £7 offer.

Summary: A great book.

I just bought this 2 days ago to read after Stephen King! I've read all the Shopaholic books and loved them but wasn't sure about a different character now. Still, I like the author so I am hoping it will be an enjoyable read. Glad you recommend it.
