I found this book in a charity shop, knew nothing about the author but the cover and title caught my eye, the synopsis seemed ok and a quick thumb suggested I'd get on with the style. Within a few weeks, I'd bought the other two novels he had available in Britain at full price (bit of a rarity for me), and worse still ordered his first novel from America because it was out of print here !
