Advantages: Cool exclusive pictures, written by The Rock!

Disadvantages: None!

The Rock, the most electrifying man wrote this book, and it is, in my opinion, a very interesting book. "The Rock," who's real name is Dwayne Johnson writes about how he rose to fame. I bought this book from America, although it is available in the UK. It took me only one week to read, because it was so interesting and addictive!

The Rock talks about his many injuries before he was a professional wrestler. After reading this book, I was actually quite surprised. For example, I did not know that The Rock used to be a professional football player for the Miami Hurricanes, or that he used to go to motels asking for used mattresses to sleep on because he didn’t have enough money to buy them. As a match regular, he used to get free tickets to every game, but had to sell them for the money to pay rent!

The Rock also talks about WWF rehearsals, and how he coped with the death of his good friend, and co-WWF wrestler, Owen Hart, when he tragically died in a wrestling accident. The Rock also talks about his childhood and how his father being an ex-professional wrestler helped him in becoming one.

This book is a very good read and I am sure you will love reading it as much a I did. There are also some cool pictures of him as a kid and some of him in the WWF. Some are glossy too! I personally am a Rock fan and I think it is amazing how he has turned from being a “baddie” in the WWF to the most popular man there, the most electrifying man in sports entertainment…The People’s Champion. So the question I am asking is not really, “Are you going to buy this book?” It is more of, “DO YOU SMELL WHAT THE ROCK IS COOKING?”
