Advantages: Great read, laugh out loud book

This book is another great read from Catherine Alliot. After reading a couple of her books I've become hooked and this is no exception. Some parts of the storyline are a bit whacky and unrealistic but that is what makes it so funny.

Rosie Meadows has been married to Harry for 3 years. She wasn't really commited to the relationship from the beginning but it was the start of what she thought could be a nice cosy and easy life. However, further down the line she is beginning to realise that there is more to life than posh lunches she doesn't really want to attend, shooting weekends and bridge parties. She has had enough of playing the loyal wife in a social scene that is totally not her!!! Rosie leaves her husband and embarkes on a new life but as with all of Catherine's books things don't really go as planned for her.

There are many twists and turns along the way for Rosie, some as I have already stated are a little unrealistic but that just adds to the pure fun of this book. It is a light hearted 'chick lit' book which will keep you interested and laughing right until the very last page.

Summary: Keep you interested to the very end, 10/10
