This is the first book I have read by Tamara Lejeune, there is no definite date given to the novel, but it is it seems to be set around the regency period and is a historical romance. The book is set in Bath and focuses on the lives of the rich and priviledged who live there. There are 2 main characters in the book: 1. Sir Benedict Wayborn, who is looked on by many of the female characters as being old, he is probably in his late thirties. He lost one of his lower forearms in an accident when he was a young boy and this is another talking point for many of the other characters. 2.
