What makes this novel stand out from the crowd is the development if the characters by the author John Sandford. The central character has since matured from this early work but it is fantastic for fans to see him in this raw form. Have you ever met anyone when they are a bit older and wondered what they were like in their youth? Perhaps they are a police officer or a politician whose reputation is beyond repute? Would you be shocked to discover that to get to were they are they had to do some pretty rebellious things? I think you would be. I have read several of the later ‘Prey’ series and thought I knew the main character Lucan Davenport well, but I was surprised to discover a whole new side of the character in this one of his first adventure. Some of them are almost too short see review none for me Suspense, Love, Everything you need for a good book You wont be able to put it down Well argued case, easy to read book No clear alternative Didn't cost much, The cover looks pretty good.
