 S.W.A.L.K. - Colin McNaughton ... 'S.W.A.L.K.' What does this mean? His mum knows what that means -- Sealed With A Loving Kiss! Preston Pig is back home from his seaside holiday, which we heard all about in the last Preston title, Oomph! One morning Preston is woken by his dad and Postman Pate singing Preston's got a girlfriend' in the back garden. His mum hands him a letter with his name on and with 'S.W.A.L.K' written across the envelope. It is from Max, the little girl he met at the seaside and she wants to know all about her new friend. So, Preston picks up his pencil and starts writing all about his day.Newest Review: ... asks him what he does at home and who his friends are. He sits down and writes a letter back explaining what he gets up to ... more ... and all about his family, friends and school.
He then rushes to post it remembering to add kisses to the bottom and writing S.W.A.L.K. on the envelope.
***The Illustrations***
The pictures in this book are very funny and as well as the text telling the story there are lots of speech bubbles coming from the characters’ mouths so we get amusing side stories as we go along.

***Background*** Some of you out there might recognise the name of Colin McNaughton from my previous reviews of the two Cushie Butterfield books about a cute little character who is quite simply, a little cow.
