Sabrina Spellman, played by actress Melissa Joan Hart in the television series, is a teenage witch living in the mortal realm in America, initially with her two Aunts; Hilda and Zelda, and her pet cat Salem (whom was once a warlock sentenced to 100 years as a house pet for attempted world domination). Sabrina the Teenage Witch was a hit TV series in the 90s, with a total of eight successful seasons. Although it is no longer in production, it is still incredibly popular. Each episode takes us on an incredible journey into the young witch's life, where we see her attempt to cope with being both a witch and a teenager at the same time.

With the series' a wide range of merchandise was released for its fans. Among the dolls and console games, a large amount of books could be fond, including the collection of novelizations. Book number #20 is Age of Aquariums. Each of the Sabrina books have their own cover and I must say, this one is incredibly attractive! It has a main deep blue shade, with a matching sparkly Sabrina logo and border. On the front you can see an image of Melissa Joan Hart, the actress who plays Sabrina. Her hair is blonde, which suggests this is from one of the first few seasons (her hair is dark in the rest). She is also holding up a fish tank, which is very peculiar indeed!

The plot itself tells us of another of Sabrina's antics. Sabrina transforms herself into a little mermaid and enters the school aquarium, where she discovers a little lost world. The people of this world think Sabrina is Queen. The world is in trouble and needs saving, but how will Sabrina restore the world without exposing her magic to the whole school?

This is definitely an exciting story. It's very gripping, each page full of surprises. What I think I like best about it is the fact that it is incredibly unique. Some of the Sabrina books are too much like episodes from the television series, but this one is completely its own.

The book is written by both David Cody Weiss and Bobbi Weiss. They have an interesting style that truly helps capture the magic of Sabrina the Teenage Witch, very vivid and exciting. They have also written various other Sabrina books in the collection, including 'Now and Again', 'Good Switch Bad Switch', and the first book 'A Novelization'. Whenever I see their names on the cover of a Sabrina book, I just know I am in for a good read.

The series is aimed at children within the 8-13 age bracket. For those who fall into this, it will provide them with an interesting though slightly challenging read they're sure to enjoy. Though the writing is quite small across its 160 pages so it is not too good for the less confident reader. For the more mature reader however it will provide a perfect read which requires minimal thinking but is still very entertaining.

If you wish to buy this book, you are going to have to do so online. They disappeared from shops a few years after the series finished, but thankfully they are available all over the internet. You can purchase this for just 1p on Amazon.co.uk, and even with its £2.75 postage and packaging fee, that is still a wonderful price - much better than its £4.99 RRP!

I simply adore the range of Sabrina books, and this is just one edition I could read again and again. The story is so exciting, with its characters believable and its descriptions vivid. It truly feels like you could be watching an episode on television! It is most certainly worth the money and definitely worth buying if you are a Sabrina fan, or even if you are just looking for a read that is a little bit magical!
