Raymond Khoury clearly thinks he has discovered a magic formula. His first book - The Last Templar - was a quest to uncover an ancient secret known only to a few. His new one - The Sanctuary - is, well, a quest to uncover an ancient secret known only to a few. You know what though? Khoury might be right - maybe he HAS got a magic formula. In a little more depth, the plot takes in a woman's quest of to free her mother, kidnapped whilst in pursuit of a mysterious book. Needless to say, her quest is not straightforward and involves lots of clues, chasing around and visits to exotic locations! Slightly formulaic it might be, but Khoury proves very adept ...
