Every Christmas I stock up on lots of Christmassy books, DVDs and Cds to help get me in the festive spirit. One book which I was really looking to reading this year was Katie Price's novel; Santa Baby. The book was released in the United Kingdom in 2012 and is currently available to buy from Amazon for a price of £
I loved this book, as I have Katie Price's other novels. The book is just so addictive - it's such a page turner. I found the storyline, if predictable to be a really good one as I just kept having to turn the pages to see what was going to happen next.
I liked the characters in this book, especially Tiffany as she was so just down to earth and easy to relate to. To be honest, there weren't really any characters who I really didn't like. One thing I liked was how references are made to characters from some of Katie's other fictional novels - so it was nice to have an update on what they were up to.
Despite the fact that Katie Price didn't actually write this book herself, the book is well-written. I like that it is fast paced and doesn't hang about too much. The style of writing makes easy reading which means that it is great to read when you fancy a bit of light reading.
One thing which I was a bit disappointed about was the fact that this book wasn't at all Christmassy - well apart from the ending and so whilst I really enjoyed the book, I wouldn't have wasted my 'festive' reading on this book if I had have known it wasn't Christmassy. I think that the cover is very misleading as it is very Christmassy when the book itself isn't at all Christmassy, until Christmas happens to come along at the end of the book. I would definitely have read this book, although not at Christmas, when I like to use this time to read Christmassy books.
Thanks for reading!
