Ronald Wright's "A Scientific Romance" (ISBN 1-86230-019-4) £6.99 is difficult to place. From one point of view, it is a science fiction adventure, from another, a love story and from another, an environmental disaster story. The story centres around David Lambert, a Librarian, who comes to realise that H. G. Well's time machine really exists. As he travels into the future he thinks back over the tangled web of relations he had with his friend and their mutual love Anita.
