This is the concluding part of Tad Williams' Otherland series. To use what seems to be the standard measurement, this series has consumed enough wood-pulp to deforest an area the size of Wales. Probably. And, without harping on about numbers of pages, I'm afraid that it all seems to have gone a little too far. I don't want to spoil things for those who have yet to read the three preceding books, so avoiding spoilers is especially difficult. In fact, its only because of the quality of what went before that this conclusion has a tinge of disappointment. By less demanding standards, this is a thoroughly good read. I'll start this opinion by saying that reading it will probably give away a few things that happen within the first 3 books and that if you have any intention of ever reading them you don't read this opinion and instead go and read an opinion on the first book (or better yet go and read the first book :). I'll only really give things away in the storyline section of the opinion though so if you just skip that bit this opinion is still readable. After being recommended the first Otherland book a few years ago I read through the first 3 books very quickly, unfortunately the last book had yet to be published and I was worried that I would end up ...
