I received this book a few years ago as an unemployed graduate. The underlying idea that the author of this book attempts to convey to readers is as the title suggests, you need to think rich to get rich. For example if you don't even believe you are worthy of becoming rich, you will never become rich. This book is full of examples of people with low self esteem and why their low self worth prevents them from making big bucks. Having socialized with a wide range of people, from those from the poorest slums of the UK, to those earning million pound bonuses in the city, I would tend to agree with his assesment. The title is brash, demanding and quite honestly almost stopped me from buying the book. The words blare at you like a foghorn: "Secrets of the Millionaire Mind: Think Rich to Get Rich". A tickertape of dollar, pound and yen symbols duly parades in gold across the front cover in imperial purple. Being suspicious of over-inflated promises and get-rich-quick fables, I had to overcome my natural cynicism to make the purchase. I'm glad that I did.
