This is the fourth book in the Dollanganger/Flowers in the Attic series, and the last to feature the Dollanganger Children. In this book, Cathy and Christopher finally return to Foxworth hall, the place where they were held captive for so many years and lost their brother Cory. This time though they return to live there, with their son Bart, who has been left the house in his inheritance. Despite their attempts to be happy, Cathy can not let go of the past, living in Foxworth Hall is hard for her, and Bart seems to grow increasingly hostile towards his family and his parents.
