I had been looking at this book on amazon for quite a while debating whether to buy it or not as I didnt think it would tell me anything I didnt already know about the SATC series, but after reading a review on dooyoo about this very book I decided to give it a chance. Now I am probably THE biggest SATC fan so I had very high expectations about this book and Id say they were about half met. If you're a fan of Sex And The City, you'll absolutely adore this book! Brlliant in Paperback format (easy to read in bed!) This book is jam-packed full of pictures and outtakes from each episode with detailed information and provides an insight into location details. It really brings the series back to life! Remember where Carrie first bumped into Big, the Girls on board the Manhatten Ferry, the rooftop sequence barbeque with the transevestites...there is so much in this book. This book is designed as an accompaniment to the popular televisions series. If you have all the DVDs, you might wonder if this book is really going to offer anything new. Actually, I think it lends a fascinating insight into SATC. As well as interviews with all the major actors, there are articles about the producers, writers, costume designers, and how the show is put together, from beginning to end. As well as being informative, this is a fun book to dip into, as it's heavy on the pictures, and each page features a favourite quote from the series.
