Like many of us, I started the new year determined to improve my health and fitness levels. For me the incentive was a very poor health check, which gave me a 10% increased risk of heart disease and diabetes than would be expected for my age and background. Also, like I suspect most of us, my history is strewn with abandoned new year's resolutions, many relating to getting fit, losing weight, eating better etc. So what to do to really make the changes I need?
