This board book has 7 double pages and is sturdy enough to withstand enthusiastic little hands. Each of these pages is full of photographs of objects specific to the focus of the double page, whether it be circles, rectangles, stars, ovals or diamonds. The right hand page also has three lift-the-flap opportunities which reveal more photos of the same shape. Seven different types of 2D shapes are looked at in the book, for example: Rectangles - pictures of a ruler, dominoes, a pencil case, a door and an envelope are shown.
