Sheer Mischief - Jill Mansell ... at seven by Maxine, complete with police escort, isn't quite how she'd planned to spend her Sunday. Even so Janey, who's just rebuilding her life after her husband disappeared, is delighted that her sister's back in the Cornish town where they grew up. When Maxine sets her sights on Guy Cassidy, an impossibly glamorous fashion photographer, Janey knows there's no limit to the mischief her sister will get up to in order to dispatch her rivals. But little do they know that the competition is a lot closer to home than they think.

Millie's Fling - Jill Mansell

Premium Review Don't chuck this one! (1854 words)
by idodoyou - written on 23/09/01 (Very useful, 87 readings)
Rating:

NOT JUST FOR THE DURATION OF THIS BOOK!! (And anyway, they soon grow, and don’t stay cute for long, I know, I’ve got two of the buggers!!) Dunno why, maybe Mansell, or Headline likes dogs, but there has now been a couple of her other books with the cute little puppy dog on them? Does the presence of the Andrex dog make the sales figure rocket?? As I said, I dunno? The blurb excites and entices enough for you to pick up this book anyway, and basically, you get what it offers. ISBN: 0 7472 6486 4 *HOWS IT WRITTEN?* In keeping with all of the accumulations of amorous adventures that the pages of a Mansell novel titillates, and tantalises our minds ...

Mixed Doubles - Jill Mansell

Premium Review New Balls Please (1131 words)

*Background* Despite Jill Mansell being around for quite some time now, this is the first of her books that I have read. I wasn’t really sure what to expect but did wonder if it would be quite raunchy as the photography on the cover showed one pair of male legs and two pairs of female legs hanging over the edge of a sofa. Now I’m not really into books that are full of sex so I almost put it back on the shelf in the library, but thought that the blurb sounded quite appealing and took it home. *The Story* You know what it’s like when New Year comes around. You get together with some good friends and make some resolutions for the coming year. This story centres round ...

books are doing nothing to help me get a job are they? Oh, well, I always did hate working in the summer!! Anyway, just finished one Jill Mansell book, of which, as I type has no category here on dooyoo. Not surprising really, I have written two other ops this last weekend and not one of the buggers has a category either. Someone’s gonna be busy adding?? Watch out for em when they've been added ... I enjoyed ‘Head Over heels’ so, when it came to the dreaded decision time, to save arqueing with myself over which book to choose, I just headed straight for the two remaining Mansell novels on my ‘to read’ pile. And Mixed Doubles was ...
