The Queen of Sorcery is the second book out of five in David Eddings Belgariad fantasy novel series. I have owned this book and the others for over twenty years, the covers have disintegrated from use and pages have been stuck back in with sellotape, I have read them numerous times, my other half has read them twice and I have even read the to my children and now after several years I am in the middle of rereading the entire series and enjoying them all over again. These books are written very much in the same vein as JRR Tolkein s "Lord of the Rings" but with much more humour and don t take themselves as serious. They feature Belgarath the Sorcerer, known ...

say, I've read and re-read all the books (not to mention The Malloreon and all the other offshoots David & Leigh Eddings have written). The series encompasses all the emotions - love, hate, war - and, at times, can bring a lump to your throat. The characters, even so many years on, are still fresh in mind, Polgara, Belgarath, Silk, Durnik, Barak, C'Nedra. I can't say that about a lot of the books I've read over the years. The copyright of the first book dates back to 1982 and is proof that not everything is better today. ...
