*The Background* I remember Funnybones from the television series many years ago rather than from the series of books but Allan Ahlberg is the well-known writer of this book and Andre Amstutz does the illustrations. Although the original stories were written all those years ago, they have been given a new lease of life thanks to the Puffin publishing house who have re-issued them all in large paperback form.
