I like John Snow. You can see that glint in his eye when he reads out a story on C4 news that there’s more to it than he is allowed to say. I’m an objective journalist but if you buy me a beer ile tell you the truth kind of attitude. He learnt his lesson at ITN on that score when he was sacked for blurting out what he really thought in the 80s about the miners strike and now let others break the real truth and risk their careers, usually on the sister channel ‘More4’. For some reason mainstream news is still sanitized as if the internet was never invented. Public trust in the UK news, post Iraq, has dropped dramatically as they allowed the likes of Alistair Campbell set ...  Read the complete review
